BUSINESS EXPERIENCE:

Tera Link Business Development – 2005 to Present – Ohio

Information Technology and Business Consulting services including Project Management, Audits, Business Operations Consulting, New Venture Analysis and Launch. Developed a highly successful string of retail store operations providing sweepstakes and other play-for-cash promotions. Opened stores in Sandusky, Vermilion, Elyria, Port Clinton, Milan, Lorain and Amherst Ohio. Voted Best of the Best Internet Cafes 5 consecutive years by the Lorain Journal.

Worked on a five-year project with representatives of the Governor’s office and business leaders to try to bring Native American casino gaming to Ohio. Established the basic regulatory framework for Indian gaming in Ohio by working with Federal agencies enforcing laws relating to Indian gaming, including the National Indian Gaming Commission, the Interior Department, the Justice Department as well as County and City authorities.  Was successful in identifying and contracting with a federally recognized tribe with roots in Ohio; identified and secured options for land; developed and wrote the extensive documents required under the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (IGRA) to qualify the tribe’s legal position, put land in trust and document the compact between the US Bureau of Indian Affairs, the State of Ohio and the tribe.

Responsible for overall P & L, planning and operation of all Company activities for the consulting and microcomputer divisions. Accomplished the overall objective of providing the highest quality information systems consulting services for the lowest possible fees.  The consulting services market focused on F1000 companies with advanced technology environments. Responsibilities included strategic and tactical planning and implementation of sales, marketing and technical activities. The Company profitably expanded geographically and ranked in the top 10% of like firms nationally, employing hundreds of consultants in several branch locations.

Microcomputer division offered the complete spectrum of products and services: PC & peripherals, communication & networking, education, maintenance & repair, software products & packages, consulting and developmental services.

Largest branch and corporate headquarters Cleveland, Ohio had over 100 field consultants. Merged with Computer Task Group / Buffalo, NY in 1986 resulting in the dominant consulting operation in Cleveland and Columbus with well over 200 field consultants in Cleveland and nearly 200 in Columbus.
